T-Mobile Asks For Special Permission To Use 2.Court Upholds Constitutionality Of USF For Now But Future Of Broadband Subsidies Still Murky + more news.Biden Administration Makes It Clear Broadband Consumer Protection Has Never Been Much Of A Priority + more news. It's not perfect, as it just shows the number of the sender and not the name, but it's better than not receiving the SMS at all. They will be from your Signalwire phone number, but the option I am trying to get to forward MMS messages too, but I haven't figured this out yet. It will forward SMS messages to your phone number, +15551112222 in this example. Under "* When a message comes in:", paste the Request URL from step 6. Copy the Request URL from the newly created Bin.ħ. Name it something like "Forward Messages" and use the following code:Ħ. Has anyone seen any code out there that implements SMS forwarding for signalwire? I looked at the laml docs but it's a little over my head seeing a working example would be really helpful. To forward SMS messages, I did the following:Ĥ. In each case under "SIP Settings>Incoming" I use /1NPANXXXXXX at the end of the resister string. I have 3 Signalwire trunks/DIDs on this box. I then placed a call to that DID registered on the PBX and that also completed fine. Just now, prompted by this thread, I placed a call via a Signalwire trunk set-up on a known-to-be-occasionally-flaky sandbox cloud installation (Cloud at Cost) of Asterisk 13.24.1 under Incredible PBX 13.0.192.19 and it connected fine. I had a minor problem with chan_sip (it didn't like a /DID in the register string), but if you have multiple DIDs with them you wouldn't do that anyway and use from-pstn-toheader context instead.I, also, did not try to get Signalwire to work with PJSIP. For now, I'll stick with them for termination and see how it goes.Did you get it working with pjsip? I failed (it didn't like the SDP offering encryption) but didn't try very hard. I've only used them briefly for termination but thus far, I've been pleasantly surprised with good call quality to historically difficult locales. As someone who has lived this with open source and outside investors it’s a rough road as most investors do not understand the idea of something being free and open source. I had to jump through hoops to get Signalwire to work with Asterisk but it is now running pretty smoothly. That's been my experience too. With the VCs who in the recent past have funded SignalWire wanting more growth and control over things.
